Cleveland Browns Coach Hue Jackson said Monday that Brock Osweiler will start Thursday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. The news comes just a week after rookie DeShone Kizer was said to be leading the QB battle and “it’s not even close,” reported a source. It’s ironic Osweiler is the starting man for week 1 of the preseason considering the only reason the Browns accepted him in a trade from the Houston Texans in March was solely so they could acquire a second-round pick.
The Browns seemed to be hyped about their new QB, evident in this rock-themed “hype” video that features the 6’7” Arizona State alum throwing routine screen passes in slow motion.

I’m sure Browns fans are jacked up to go 4-12 this year.
