Floyd Mayweather spent 4 hours training at Ten Goose Boxing Gym in Los Angeles with the TMT crew and Toronto Raptors star, DeMar DeRozan. Money Mayweather could be heard repeatedly saying to himself during the workout, “You name him. I beat him,” according to TMZ.
Mayweather was reportedly talking to himself during the session saying, “I be trying to tell ya’ll … I can get a black eye, a bloody nose. I can have a bad day in the gym. At the end of the day, I don’t have a bad payday and I don’t have a bad night under the lights.”
He added, “I get bumps, bruises … but I don’t have a bad night.”
Mayweather’s workouts are notoriously grueling, as detailed in an interview with AskMen. The undefeated boxer begins with a shadow boxing workout. Then spars between 7 to 12 rounds. Then works on the heavy bag for 20-30 minutes. Then does a core workout. Then does pad work to increase speed, coordination and timing. Then does bodysuit work. Then works the speed bag. Then works out his neck, with weights. Then does 200 sit ups, pull ups, dips, jump rope, and double-end bag. THEN he goes on a 5-8 mile run.
Below is just one piece of the punishing workout:
