A Soccer Fans Dream – FIFA is Building a $198 Million Underground Museum

FIFA has $1.2 billion in cash reserves. It is no surprise they found a stupid way to spend it. Soccer’s governing body is building a $198 million underground museum next to FIFA headquarters, which will have “3D animations, interactive games, trophies… everything a football fan could wish for.” A so called “football fans dream.”

According to Sepp Blatter, ”it is high time that world football had a meeting place for its millions of fans.” Exactly, it’s not as though the world is littered with stadiums where they can congregate.

Clubs such as Real Madrid and Manchester United have set the benchmark when it comes to football museums, and as FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter said, “it is high time that world football had a meeting place for its millions of fans.”
