On Tuesday night, Phoenix’s Raffi Torres left his feet to deliver a hit on Chicago’s Marian Hossa. Hossa had to be taken off the ice on a stretcher. Today the NHL announced a 25-game suspension for Torres for the hit. Brendan Shanahan explains that Torres broke three rules during this play. Its Funny, Shanahan does not mention the punishment the referee standing 5-feet from the collision who didn’t call a penalty on any of the three rule violations Torres committed.
