A wild second period and some incredible saves from goalie Pekka Rinne gave the Predators a 4-1 win in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday night.
After a pretty even first period—with Nashville scoring first, upheld by replay review, and Sidney Crosby answering with Pittsburgh’s only goal of the night to tie things up almost scarcely a minute later—things busted wide open in the second. Frederick Gaudreau scored a goal that initially wasn’t one but was overturned on replay review, and Viktor Arvidsson added another goal later in the period. Throughout, Rinne was making saves like this one:

Rinne had 23 saves in all, and an empty-netter in the third sealed the victory for the Predators. With the series tied, Game 5 is Thursday in Pittsburgh.
