You don’t have to be a Vikings fan to appreciate what happened last Sunday. With four major professional leagues, the land of 10,000 lakes has the longest title drought of any major U.S. sports market, with the last championship being the Twins back in 1991(Sorry Minnesota, I don’t count the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx winning four championships since 2011).
The Viking have a unique opportunity of being the home team in Super Bowl LII on February 4, 2018 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are one win away, thanks in large part to what is now being dubbed the Minneapolis Miracle.
With just seconds left in the game, Vikings’ QB Case Keenum Vikings threw down the sideline to Stefon Diggs, who managed to take it 61 yards to the house as time expired–sending 66,612 fans at US Bank Stadium into .
The Minnesota Vikings Twitter account put together a pretty magical recap video that will send chills up and down the spine of anyone who can appreciate the sensation of a victory of that magnitude.
The #MinneapolisMiracle was incredible.

It’s been 41 years since the Vikings were last in the Super Bowl, I don’t know about you, but I’m rooting for the #Skol.
