Seahawks’ Michael Bennett Says Las Vegas Police Held Him At Gunpoint And Threatened To ‘Blow’ His ‘F**** Head Off’

Michael Bennett posted a chilling story on Twitter this morning in which he says he was profiled and violently harassed by police in Las Vegas, Nevada, after the Mayweather-McGregor fight last week.

The Seahawks defensive end has been one of Colin Kaepernick’s most vocal allies in the NFL and has spoken out against police brutality and justice inequality for the past few years.

Kaepernick, who has been quiet throughout the offseason, took to Twitter to comment on Bennett’s encounter with the police.

Bennett began sitting for the National Anthem two weeks before this incident. He already planned to continue throughout the season.
