The Eagles and Rams are trading blows in Los Angeles today in one of the best football games of the year. However, Philly QB Carson Wentz got drilled by a group of Rams wile diving into the end zone on a scramble late in the 3rd quarter. The touchdown was ultimately negated by a penalty. While Wentz remained in the game long enough to hit Alshon Jeffery for a touchdown, he headed to the injury tent and then the locker room after the series.

It goes without saying that hopefully Wentz, one of the league’s brightest young players and possible MVP winner, is alright here.

If reports are true, it doesn’t sound good for the potential MVP.
The news @ErinAndrews had wasn’t good. Said Eagles staffers were leaving the locker room after seeing Wentz shaking their heads.

Nick Foles is Wentz’s backup.
UPDATE: It seems as bad as first speculated. What a huge blow to the Eagles and Wentz.
Eagles are concerned QB Carson Wentz tore his left ACL, per source.
