Antonio Brown Calls JuJu Smith-Schuster’s Hit On Vontaze Burfict ‘Karma’, Says He’s Going To Pay JuJu’s Fine

During last nights Monday Night Football game, JuJu Smith-Schuster laid out Vontaze Burfict with a vicious crackback block and then proceeded to stand over him.

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was pretty happy about Smith-Schuster’s hit on Burfict because he kept on yelling “that’s called karma” while the media tried to talk to JuJu about the Burfict hit.

Brown even on to say that he would pay for JuJu’s fine for the hit.

Before yesterday’s game, Burfict spoke to ESPN and claimed Brown had faked a concussion in the hit that got the Bengals linebacker suspended back in 2015.

“HE FAKED THAT,” Burfict says casually of the Brown hit before quickly trying to wave his own observation away. He knows instantly how the comment will be received, and it’s easy to see he wishes he hadn’t said it…

“I feel like he looked at me. The ball tipped off his hands and he kind of put his head towards my area, and I tried to fade off of him at the last second, but he initially tried to make contact because he knew he could get the flag. And just the way he went down, it was just like — I don’t know man.”

While Brown was clearly happy about the hit on Burfict, Smith-Schuster went on to apologize for his actions.

I don’t have any intentions to hurt anyone when I play football. I didn’t mean to hurt Vontez Burfict, I just wanted to throw a block for my teammate. I apologize for standing over him and that isn’t me. Praying he gets better.

I’ve been outspoken about the fact that I think Burfict is by far the dirtiest player in the league, and the dude got what was coming to him.

Karma is a bitch.
