Patrick Beverley Spits Fire At Russell Westbrook After Rockets Eliminate The Thunder From The Playoffs [Video]

When it comes to Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook, lets just say… the two point guards don’t really care for each other. Both have been feuding for years and it spilled over once again during game 5 of the Rockets-Thunder playoff series.

After the Rockets eliminated the Thunder, Beverley decided it was time to let Russ know what he thought of his trash talking.

“[Russ] looked up and said, ‘No one can guard me, I got 40 points.’ I’m like, that’s nice, you took 34 shots to get it,” Beverley said.

“I’m not out here trying to bash anybody,” he added. “Men lie, women lie, but the numbers don’t. Collectively as a unit we did a good job on him.”

Of course Westbrook responded.

I’m going to miss watching these two go at it on the court, but hey even though Westbrook’s team got bounced from the 1st round of the playoffs (once again), he will still have a nice shiny MVP trophy to put on the mantel. Cause that’s all that matters to Russ.
