Chris Broussard Believes LeBron Doesn’t Want To Join The Lakers Because Of The LaVar Ball Circus

Last week, LaVar Ball, father of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, made headlines when he said he wanted the Lakers to get rid of everyone, including head coach Luke Walton, to make way for LeBron James.

“LeBron’s coming to L.A. I know he’s coming to L.A.,” LaVar told ESPN.

He continued: “LeBron is not a fool. What’s the only way he can beat Jordan? You can’t get more championships. Only one way, to say every team I’ve gone to I’ve won a championship. Go to the Lakers and win a championship, then you’re better than Jordan.

“You can’t give my son the best player in the league, and don’t expect them not to win,” LaVar said. “Get rid of everybody. Give him LeBron and [LiAngelo]. You got a two and a three. And it’s a win. It’s a wrap. Then all you need are two rebounders – [Julius] Randle and [Larry] Nance Jr.”

LaVar seemingly wants to get rid of Lakers coach Luke Walton, too. “Even if you bring in a LeBron or a [Paul] George, he can’t coach them guys,” LaVar told ESPN. “What is he gonna tell them? He’s too young. He has no control.”

Well, sorry to break it to you LaVar, but according to Fox Sports NBA Insider Chris Brouusard the Lakers might have to get rid of your son to get LeBron because Bron Bron doesn’t want to deal with the baggage that is LaVar Ball.

I believe, with good reason, that LeBron James does not want to come to L.A. to join a circus with LaVar Ball. So, if you’re the Lakers, and you could get LeBron, but it meant you had to get rid of LaVar, which means you’d have to trade Lonzo, what would you do? Now, the only thing that makes it a question is the age.”

If this is true then it’s a no-brainer that the Lakers have to trade Lonzo to land LeBron but we’ll have to wait to see if it comes to that.
