Indiana Man Allegedly Choked Fiancée For Saying IndyCar Was Better Than NASCAR

Juan Pablo Montoya won the 99th running of the Indy 500 on Sunday. For race fans, it was a big day for drinking. Take Franklin, Indiana for instance, where 57-year old David Wilson allegedly choked his fiancée for talking trash about NASCAR. Seriously. That’s a quote. Via RTV6:

Wilson’s fiancée told police they had been drinking all day. She said Wilson became angered when he heard her and another person talking about IndyCar being better than NASCAR.

Wilson told police he was in the kitchen making dinner when he heard his fiancée and another person “talking trash about NASCAR.” He said he yelled into the room at both of them, but denied a physical altercation taking place.

As Budknocker would say, that’s ‘redneck violence’ at its best.

Wilson was arrested on charges of domestic battery and strangulation.
