Mr. Met is fed up with New York Mets sucking and their fans. After the Mets lost Wednesdays game against the Milwaukee Brewers at home, the team’s mascot was getting yelled at while walking into the tunnel. Mr. Met had enough and decided to flip the bird to the obnoxious fans on his way out.

Of course, it should be noted that Mr. Met only has four fingers and thus there is no possibility of a middle finger, however, didn’t stop the Mets from immediately reacting on social media to get ahead of what will surely be a large backlash on the internet.

A few hours later, they went a step further.
A Mets official told The Associated Press more than one person wears the Mr. Met costume during each season, and the person who donned it Wednesday night will not do so again. The Mets official spoke on condition of anonymity because the statement from the organization was the team’s only authorized comment.
