During the second inning of Thursday’s game between the Washington Nationals and the Baltimore Orioles, Bryce Harper fouled a 3-2 pitch. In the process, he ripped the cover — slightly — off the ball. It was well short of a Benny “The Jet” disrobing but still somewhat cool.
Harper finished the game by going 3-for-4 with a double, a run and RBI in the Nationals’ 6-1 win over the Orioles. Bryce Harper, the only baseball player who could make a crappy foul ball interesting.
