Erin Andrews is the New Co-Host of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars

Erin Andrews, the Fox Sports sideline reporter, is going to be the new co-host of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars according to TheBigLead.

ABC announced Friday that Brooke Burke, who had been Tom Bergeron’s co-host on DWTS for the last seven seasons, would be leaving the show.

Andrews competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2010 and finished in third place. Also, she was a college football sideline reporter and host at ESPN from 2004-2012.

According to the Wrap, Dancing with the Stars has been hemorrhaging viewers over the last few seasons.

Over the past few seasons, the celebrity dancing competition has experienced a decrease in viewership. Last November, “Dancing With the Stars” had its lowest season finale ever, earning a 2.4 rating — down 20 percent from last fall’s finale — and 12.8 million viewers.

ABC is expected to announce the lineup for the new season of Dancing with the Stars in early March.
