American Pharoah became the first horse to win the Triple Crown in 37 years thanks to a dominating performance at the Belmont Stakes. Coming out of the fifth post, American Pharoah led wire-to-wire and sealed history by breaking away from the field down the stretch.
Jockey Victor Espinoza summed up the victory with two words.
Frosted finished second and Keen Ice took third.

But one must wonder if he’d have been able to pull off this remarkable feat without a show of support from The Burger King, who appeared in trainer Bob Baffert’s box before the race.
