Tour Championship TV Schedule, Odds, And Tee Times: Will DJ Continue His 2016 Success?

The final stop of the PGA Tour season is finally upon us. The TOUR Championship, held at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia starts on Thursday. The field has been whittled down to the top 30 players in the FedExCup points standings including Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Adam Scott, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Bubba Watson, and Phil Mickelson, among many others who are playing good golf right now like Paul Casey and Emiliano Grillo.

Jordan Spieth is the defending champ, but, and don’t read into this too much, he hasn’t won since May. Granted, that doesn’t mean much because he has three top 10 finishes since that win and he’s won and finished as a runner-up in three appearances at East Lake before. Spieth’s biggest competition this year won’t be the same guy as last year, Jason Day, but instead is Dustin Johnson, who has by far had the best season of his career.

Notes: Jason Day told Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis that he is; stop me if you’ve heard this one too many times, “cautiously optimistic” about his play this week.

My Pick

Dustin Johnson is my boy, but I’m picking Adam Scott to win by two strokes over Spieth and Johnson.
