Here Are The Fast Food Chains Americans Love And Hate The Most

It’s no secret that America is pretty much the best at everything. We were the first to land on the moon, we own the Olympic medal count every four years, and our women’s soccer team simply humiliated Japan in the World Cup final yesterday. That’s all well and good, but unfortunately being the best at everything means that we are also the best at being obese gluttons.

According to my extensive research (a quick Google search), 1 in 4 Americans eat some type of fast food every day, 10% of our income is spent on fast food every year, and 20% of our meals are eaten in a car (come on, guys).

So when the American Consumer Satisfaction index polled 70,000 Americans for their opinions on the fast food restaurant industry, you best believe they had an educated opinion. After polling, the ACS then compiled these opinions into a composite index that ranges from a low of zero to a high of 100. The report tracks nine standards of customer satisfaction, ranging from “courtesy and helpfulness of the staff” to “quality of beverages”.

According to the Huffington Post, the ASCI report reveals that Americas are becoming less satisfied with their fast food experiences. All nine benchmarks for satisfaction for the industry as a whole in 2015 ranked lower than they did in 2014. The food category that took the biggest hit from last year is pizza. Papa John’s and Pizza Hut’s scores dropped 5 percent, while the scores for Domino’s and Little Caesars dropped 6 and 8 percent respectively.
