Missouri basketball player Zach Price, who sat out the 2013-14 season after transferring from Louisville, has been arrested twice in one day. Price was arrested early this morning on suspicion of assault and domestic assault and suspended by the program.
Price, 20, was involved in a dispute with a 23-year-old male roommate and a 23-year-old female and followed them from the area of Heather Lane and Ash Street to the area of Stadium Boulevard and blocked in their vehicle with his own vehicle, preventing them from leaving the area, according to the report.
The statement said that Price exited the vehicle and struck the male victim in the face with a closed fist. The other victim attempted to intervene and was pushed to the ground by Price.
One of the victims tried to spray Price with mace. Both victims were said to sustain minor injuries as a result of Price’s actions.
Police have confirmed that Price was arrested a second time today. It’s not yet clear on what charges or whether the two incidents were related.
